Joining the CIOPORA Office from the US’ West Coast is CIOPORA’s new trainee, Elisabeth Doody.
Elisabeth is an undergraduate student at UC Davis and is currently pursuing her degree in Plant Sciences and Technology Management.
A California native, Elisabeth has previously interned with berry breeders and growers across her state to trial new varieties and improve production practices. In summer 2018, Elisabeth worked with an agricultural association in Washington, D.C., where she not only studied the 2018 Farm Bill, the latest US hemp legislation and regulations in the area of sustainability but also experienced firsthand the ways of lobbying on the Capitol Hill.
Elisabeth will be interning with the CIOPORA Office from January through the end of March 2019.
